The European Regulation on Privacy - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - gives the User more control on its personal Data and transparency on their use.
INNOVATION ACTA (www.innovationacta.eu) wants to reassure that it takes its commitments to Data privacy seriously in order to ensure the compliance with the new regulation.
Data collection
With the Registration Form procedure INNOVATION ACTA collects:
- First name and last name
- Institution
- Country
- Telephone
- Email address
These Data are strictly required to provide INNOVATION ACTA’s registration service for the event.
By submitting its Registration Form, User formally agrees with INNOVATION ACTA’s terms of use and privacy policy.
Data processing
INNOVATION ACTA will use User’s Data exclusively for the service offered.
INNOVATION ACTA handles User’s Data on electronic documents as well as on printed graphic material.
INNOVATION ACTA will protect User’s Data with standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction.
Data sharing
INNOVATION ACTA will not share User’s Data with any other organization except the event hosting Coordinator when involved. When requested, INNOVATION ACTA may share User’s Data with a third-party touring company. INNOVATION ACTA invites User to verify the relevant third-parties Privacy Policy.
In any case, the Data sharing is never to be intended with profiling or marketing purposes.
Data place
Depending on the User’s location, Data transfers may involve transferring them to a country other than their own. The transfer will be managed by web services as well as by express courier shipments.
Retention time
Due to the nature of European Project events, User’s Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. Furthermore, INNOVATION ACTA may be obliged to retain User's Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
User’s right
In any moment User is entitled to view all its collected Data, or amend them when requested for upcoming events.
Aside the above legal restrictions (i.e. in case of Data not involved in past events) User has the right to request partial or full deletion of its Data.
